Our new baby!

So, I mentioned on Twitter last night that I had a secret and that I might get to share it with y’all today. Which is good, because I’ve been dying to tell you guys for weeks now. And secrets are HARD for me! So, the good news is, today is the day! I get to tell you something awesome!

But before I tell you what it is, I will dispel all your curious guesses and tell you what it isn’t…

No, I am not pregnant. (But it does have something to do with babies…)

No, we are not adopting right now. (But it kind of feels like it…)

And no, I am not traveling to Africa with a group of Mommy Bloggers (though that would be fun and was a very creative guess!).

The truth is, I did kind of adopt something…

Something that I’ve been loving and sharing and buying for over a year. Something that was going away, and it killed me to see it go. Something that I never imagined I’d do even as recently as two weeks ago. (Yes, this has been a whirlwind two weeks, lemme tell ya!)

You guys, I bought a business. A business that I adore and believe in one hundred percent. A business that I’ve shared with you guys on multiple occasions with no kickback at all – just because I love it that much.

I am now the proud owner of Nourish Baby Organics!

Well, I guess I should say WE are the proud owners…

My friend (& cousin-in-law) Olivia and I are venturing into this business together and we’re so excited about where it’s heading and what we are already planning for this amazing company!

And our first order of business? We’ll be changing the name to simply “Nourish Organics”.

Because we believe that everyone’s skin deserves to be babied. : )

We’ve got some great plans that we are so excited to share with y’all. We’ll be expanding our product line with new scents and new products all together. We’re on our way to official USDA organic certification and we’re geeked about getting it into the hands of the ones we love!

So what better way to get Nourish Organics into your hands than to give a few away today?

We’re giving away three prizes to three lucky winners – so your chances are great!

Happy Person #1 will receive a 2oz. organic eucalyptus chest rub (provides natural relief from the sniffles)

Enviable Person #2 will receive a 4oz. bottle of our organic lavender oil (add a capful to your warm bath or use it instead of lotion after a shower)

Giddy Person #3 will receive an 8oz. coconut wash, shipped from our home to yours! (go to bed Nourished, wake up so soft!)

How about it? Want to Nourish yourselves and your babes? Here are 4 great ways to enter (be sure to leave a separate comment for each of the four ways):

ONE: Follow @Nourish_Organic on Twitter AND tweet about this giveaway using this text, “Somebody’s about to get Nourished! Enter the @Nourish_Organic giveaway here for your chance to win: http://bit.ly/neJ1jg”

TWO: “Like” Nourish Organics on Facebook

THREE: Sign up for our newsletter (we won’t send more than one per month and it will be your source new product info, exclusive discounts and free shipping codes!)

FOUR: Buy something! You can visit our shop here – in celebration of our happy news, we’ve knocked 25% off of everything in our shop through October 19th (no code needed – you’ll see the discounts as you shop) and discounted shipping to $4.95 flat rate for all US customers.

Giveaway closes Friday, midnight. And don’t forget to leave separate comments for your entries!

Bonne Chance, friends! And thanks for all your sweet support!

What wonderful news! You introduced us to this company way back when, and my daughter, who was just a couple months old at the time, was reacting horribly to all bath wash we tried with her. I took your advice and gave this a shot, and we love it. Myself, included. The coconut wash smells delicious and moisturizes without drying. And the lavender oil– it is THE best!!! I kind of hoard that for myself, though. Congratulations on your new venture. You’ll be seeing my name on packing slips soon enough!!

How awesome, You tipped me onto Nourish a while back and I love it! Congrats on the new adventure, I am off to order more. My little one could use the chest rub right now as she has a major cold. I am already a follower on the facebook page.

Oh yeah, I had my first Oliver sighting a few weeks ago at Chick fill a in Franklin. I would have come over and said hello, but I believe he must have been with his grandmother.

Ordered! Didn’t realize you had that eucalyptus rub … very excited about that & since I won’t likely win it. I ordered it along with an orange wash cause I just can’t say no to a sale or citrus! :) Happy to support a Mom(s) in business, especially with organic products. Two of our family goals were hit in one shot! Thanks much.

Aw, you’re great Stephanie! Thanks for the support! Hazel LOVES the eucalyptus chest rub – whenever she sees a bottle she starts rubbing her chest frantically asking me to put some on her. And since it’s organic, I don’t have to worry about overdoing it! Excited to send your order your way! :)

Oh wow, Rae! I had no idea. What great products. If we didn’t have a good regimen of oils down pat for Owen and Margot, I would definitely be buying some of these. Maybe I’ll have to get the lavender one for my baths :)
