what i wore wednesday

Posted by & filed under What I Wore.

I haven’t done a “what I wore” in a while, so when I got home from errands yesterday I set up the ol’ tripod and snapped a photo to share with y’all. Ten points to Target for their cute contributions!

dress: target (current. remember when it made an appearance here?)
sweater: j.crew (current)
necklace: target (current)
belt: j.crew (last year)
shoes: jessica simpson/tjmaxx (taupe w/ navy peeking – last season)

pretty moulding DIY: here

I wore this to get Oliver from school, to get the emissions checked on our van and to Home Depot to pick up sand and a rubber mallet for some patio paver upkeep. And I felt very put together and comfy.

Truth: I wore red-orange flats instead of heels because I’m not a crazy person. Also, it was a windy day. It took all of my energy to keep it PG in the Home Depot parking lot. Sheesh.

Ha! After an embarrassing episode last spring involving flashing a mom and her young children (my dress went ALL THE WAY OVER MY HEAD), I always check for wind before donning a skirt. But this one is way cute and worth the risk, no? I haven’t seen it in our Tar-jay.

I haven’t seen this in our target, either. I’m off to look for dress-rehersal dresses today. But, I totally need a belt. That one is super duper cute!

Did you get your hair all cut off? If so, did I completely miss it!? I just did that to mine too. Very cute! {if it’s pulled back, it still looks cute!} Curious minds want to know!

Super cute. I can’t find anything cute at my Target…and I definitely do not get that dressed up any more…probably should…might make me feel better….

I just cut my longish short hair short!!!! and I love it but I’m at the age where I don’t look good with long hair…actually, I don’t think I ever did.

CUTE!!!! I always think I’ll wear a cute dress/skirt to town to run errands and such and then feel silly and chicken out.

I wore a silk skirt to church on Easter this year and didn’t know until we got there that they were having a short service outside to dedicate a tree to a parishioner that had died and it was VERY windy! I spent the whole time wrapping the skirt tightly around my legs in hopes that I didn’t flash the congregation! I luckily didn’t!
