Hello!

We are the Myers family and I am the Mama.

My days are filled with wiping faces, serving meals, sweeping floors, changing diapers, kissing ouches and reading favorite books over and over again. How did I get so lucky to get this gig?

I also get to do a lot of other fun things when I can find the time. I love to photograph our family’s life in action. I love sewing from patterns or making my own. And I really enjoy cultivating a love for sewing with y’all through my growing list of sewing tutorials.

I have been known to be a hardcore garage sale-er and have scouted out some killer tuck-and-run deals in my day (video baby monitor for $2! Two American Girl dolls for $5!).

I have a bachelor’s degree in Housing and Environmental Design. I don’t get to stretch my design muscles formally very often, but I try to pack a punch in my own spaces whenever I get the chance (which means there are always a good handful of active projects going on in my home on any given day).

So, that’s me. I’m just a Mama, trying to raise my children to love the Lord and take their dishes to the sink. I have hobbies like anyone else and I so enjoy keeping this blog as a way to document my family’s life and share the things that interest me.
