Per your suggestions, here are two new color schemes. Loving the feedback – keep it coming!
GREEN
LIGHT CHARCOAL
I have tried repeatedly to get an accurate “poppy” in photoshop and have it be fairly represented in Blogger. It’s not happening, folks. I do recognize that the color I posted was, indeed, NOT poppy. I think that either Ryan will have to come to the rescue, or we will all have to know in our hearts what true poppy looks like and visualize it from there.
Thoughts on the green and light charcoal?
I will say that the dark orange has been a surprising hit!
>I LURV the green. Absolutely fabulous.
Can I get a second?
>Oh, and I just need to be a party pooper and say I have trouble with the dark orange. I think it’s because it reminds me way to much of Texas’ colors. Burnt orange just screams “hook ’em horns” to me.
>’Stine, I’m so glad to hear you say that about the dark orange. I feel the same way – “hook ’em horns”!
>I love the green! I think the light charcoal is nice too but that the green is more fun for a playroom feel while still looking nice for Ryan’s office space! What a fun post rae! -tara
>I’m not a fan of the dark orange, either.
My vote would be either 1. the blue or 2. the green. Very fun, playful, and yet chic. :)
>Love the green! The scared, simple part of me still loves the dark charcoal, but I would love to see you go green.
>Definitely charcol, change the carpet color and paint the entertainment center charol as well….From someone who still likes oak what did you expect? :-) If Ryan needs green, paint the wall behind his computer screen and color up Oliver’s floor in his clubhouse.
>Oh,yes…the entertainment center should be a darker charcol for proper contrast
>I’m so excited to hear what you pick! I wish I could help paint.
>I do not know what true poppy looks like in my heart. I mean, if I had to guess I would say red or pink.
>Rebecca – I’d say add a little orange to your red and pink and you have poppy.
Note: I’m always afraid I’m going to write “poopy” instead of “poppy”. So far, I think I’ve been safe. But, now I’ve gone and written it for all to see.
>I like the green and the both charcoals.
