She came and refused all bottles. Ever. Even with pumped breast milk in them. We were basically connected at the nipple (MY nipple) for the first year of her life.
And those new bottles? Still organized beautifully in our cupboard. Hopefully Candice's baby (and yours!) will be bottle-friendly.
Suffice to say, I'm so glad she's drinking cow's milk out of sippy cups.

My girlfriend down the street had a baby boy in August who refused her lovely (and expensive!) stock of Dr. Brown's bottles, so yesterday she handed them off to me to add to my existing stock. If she read my blog, she'd have left the same cautionary comment.
Here's hoping Hazel is willing to be a bit flexible from time to time!
(And to those who have asked why I chose Dr. Browns: They came highly recommended from lots of other Moms I know. And now that I have experience with them from Oliver, I too would recommend them. It's kind of a pain to clean all the little bits, but he never had too much trouble with reflux or spitting up, so I call that a success!)
>we used dr brown's w/ brycen and i added to my collection for corbin when my sis n law just got done w/ them for my niece. i agree that cleaning the pieces can be a bit tedious, but well worth it b/c they seem to really work!
