This morning Oliver was at preschool and Ryan took his work to Panera, so Hazel and I got to enjoy some girls-only time in the house. She and I were playing happily in the bonus room when it suddenly occurred to me that I haven’t taken any video of her crawling since she first began last month.
I of course scrambled to get a camera (I used an older point-and-shoot and sort of regret not using a proper video camera) and rejoined my busy little girl at play.
Crisis averted.
The video is a little long. If nothing else, I know the Grandparents will enjoy. :)
Check out my little 6-month-old sunshine doing her thing!
I found the blocks at a yard sale last weekend. Aren’t they great? The store price tag on them said $130, but I bought them for $10!
The big battle in our house is currently between letting Hazel play ON them, and Oliver playing WITH them. Fun for all ages, I guess!
>All three of us watched Miss Hazel do her thing while grinning from ear to ear.
>She is so cute! Where did you get her little dress at? I just found out I am having a girl two days ago… So, I am on a baby dress hunt!
>How PRECIOUS!! Hazel is one talented young lady :) LOVE the music…truly perfect for this very special little debut!
>so cute! I love the music too. what is it?
>Mandy,
The dress is Ralph Lauren. I'm kind of a junkie when it comes to Polo, as you may have seen through some other photos on here. I love the polo shirt dresses they make and when I saw this one at Macy's, my wallet jumped right out of my pocket :-)
>She is too cute! Where did you get the dresser that's in the video? I love it! It looks like West Elm, but not sure?…
>Surely not!! This child is MUCH too little to be doing this stuff!! That's big girl stuff…sniff…they grow up too fast…
>She is ADORABLE!!!!!! Love the blocks! Okay so umm can you do a tour of that room?? I need to know the paint color and what awesomeness is going on at the wall that the little table and chairs are at! (Are those little buckets?) Okay anyway, she is precious!
>One of my 6 month old twins is crawling as well…life is about to get interesting for us…how do you keep your house so clean and white with little ones? I guess when you work outside the home it is a little different.
>Awww, Raechel, she is just precious! I was catching up on some of your posts today and when I read the "Wrists and Ambliance" one, it made me giggle; remembering how I put my baby girl in onesies (probably waaay past the time I really should have) just because onesies made her seem smaller and more a baby for longer:) I also used her age in months as long as I could (24 months sounds so much younger than 2 years doesn't it?!), but I'm thinking that at age 4 now, saying Peyton is 48 months old today:) might be a bit much:)
>LOVE the blocks so much. Do you mind telling us what store they were from before you found that at such an amazing deal at a yard sell???
