And now for a message from Raechel (who is currently wearing her Nourish Organics co-CEO hat):
Great news! Today we are publicly launching our newest organic wash scent! (All the newsletter subscribers got the heads up on Monday, but there is still some left for the rest of us!) Our brand new Organic Peppermint Wash is available just for the holidays. In fact, we’re doing a limited run of only 80 bottles.
Yes, I’m a holiday purist, too. I try my hardest not to listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving and do my best to avert my eyes from all the pretty Christmas displays at Macy’s until it’s really time. BUT, I also know that when you wake up on Friday morning after Thanksgiving, you are going to want to scrub-a-dub-dub with festive (& moisturizing! & 100% organic!) peppermint wash in the shower while you sing along loudly to your first Christmas carol.
So, you can order a bottle now – but you have to pinky-promise to tuck it away until November 25th. Mkay? (Alright, we’ll allow one “test” wash before then. We won’t tell if you won’t.)
So, 80 bottles for sale (limit 2 per order, please!) and if you order by Friday you can count on it arriving in time for that morning-after-Thanksgiving scrub.
And, while you’re ordering, feel free to stock up on other balms, washes & oils as gifts and stocking stuffers for your friends. We’ll even throw in free shipping with the code “peppermint40” if you spend $40!
Think we should give one away, too? Let’s do a one-day giveaway with only one way to enter – you have to tell me your favorite christmas carol/hymn/song. (And don’t forget that to actually enter the giveaway you have to click “I did this” and enter your info in the nifty rafflecopter widget below.)
Free shipping offer expires 11/18/11. Limit 2 8oz organic peppermint washes per customer. Order by Friday, November 18th for guaranteed Black Friday delivery.
I love Silent Night and Silver Bells. I also love Peppermint! Have a great day!
I love Hark the Herald Angels Sing! Please pick me! :)
I like……Hark the Herald Angels Sing. oh yea, and Peppermint, and winning things!
My favorite is Little Drummer Boy, along with I Heard the Bells on Christmas. The lyric that says “God is not dead nor does He sleep” gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME I hear it!
Holly Jolly Christmas!
It’s so hard to choose just one favorite Christmas song! One of my favorites is What Child is This. I would love to win!!!
I am loving all the Christmas carols right now. My son is in choir at church and we are practicing them for the Christmas program. My favorite is Oh Come Little Children…because he knows all the words and sings it all day in his precious voice. Peppermint wash…perfect! I hope they sale out fast for you.
I’ve always loved Silent Night :)
When Christmas comes to Town on the Polar Express soundtrack, sung by two little kids…brings me to tears everytime!
Oh Holy Night, hands down. And am I still allowed to enter if… Hold your breath … We have been listening to Christmas music since after Halloween?
You are my kind of girl. :)
Oh Holy Night, my all time favorite!
My two favorites are O Holy Night and The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire). I love LOVE LOVE all Christmas songs though.
It’s hard to pick one… Maybe little drummer boy? Or do you hear what I hear? I can definitely say my favorite Christmas cd right now is Family Force 5. :)
I am not big on Christmas carols, but I do love Do They Know It’s Christmas? :o)
One of my favorites is “What Child Is This?”
my boys and i love to dance to rockin’ around the christmas tree :) i love the coconut and lavendar…am excited to try the peppermint!
I also love O Holy Night. Especially hearing it during the Christmas Eve mass.
We Canadians know how to space our our holidays a little better – our Thanksgiving was in early October! So right after Halloween, Christmas songs/decorating are fair game up here. I still wait until the end of November though.
Hard to pick one, but I like Silent Night. I can remember singing this in choir as a young girl and everyone else had stopped singing. I kept singing… loudly :)
I love Silent Night – it always brings back sweet memories of the Christmas Eve service at my church, where that is the last song we sing of the night, and the lights are very dim and the organ is soft and everyone holds their lit candles to light up the church – so beautiful and moving.
I love ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ by Nat King Cole. The Latin version of course! I love how he sings it in Latin, and then he sings it in English.
I am obsessed with Christmas music so it’s really hard for me to choose but I’m going to go with The Christmas Song… and peppermint wash sounds amazing!!!
Definitely O Holy Night for me. I’m usually a purist too but in years where we travel for Thanksgiving I love to decorate the house so that it’s all fancy and Christmasy (is that a word) when we get home. This year even even out shelf elf, Fred, is going to be secretly making the trip with us so he’ll be ready to appear the day after Thanksgiving!
I Love The Christmas Carol Concoction In The Beginning Scenes of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation . I’m That Mom :)
I think my favorite would be silent night. I am getting ready to fly home for the holidays and I’m loading Christmas music on my iphone for the trip, I cant wait!!! I would love to try the new peppermint scent!!
Grandma got run over by a reindeer. Lol, sorry I know its an awful song but it takes me back to my childhood!
Only one??? I enjoy so many but will go with the Little Drummer Boy!

I love O Holy Night….has to be my season favorite!!
I love “A Baby Changes Everything”. Also, I placed an order but couldn’t find anywhere to put the code for free shipping?
Feliz Navidad (played at a Mexican restaurant by a mariachi band).
It’s not really a carol but I love “A Baby Changes Everything”. Also, I placed an order but I couldn’t find where to put in the code for free shipping?
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Seriously. Kind of a bizarre choice, but so fun to sing with gusto.
If I had to pick just one I would say ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’ !
I Heard the Bells – but it definitely has to wait until after Thanksgiving.
I love almost all holiday music (with the exception of Ave Maria due to a wanna-be opera singer we had to suffer through every year in church growing up and because I was often serving up front, I couldn’t very well cringe in front of the whole congregation. Ahem. Sorry.) but my absolute favorite – the one I keep replaying – is Mary, Did you Know? Ahhh…Christmas cookies anyone?
I sing Silent Night to my daughter every night. It is so calming to her, and it melts my heart to see her fall asleep in my arms.
Joy to the World! We used to sing it every year as we walked out of Midnight Mass!
Definitely Oh Holy Night!!!
I don’t event think I can pick a favorite, I love them all! I just put Christmas music on Pandora and my day is good! Ummm I guess if i have to pick one it would be O Holy Night by Josh Groban
i have way too many favorites, but Joy to the World is my main one at the moment. such robust happiness!

It’s hard to pick because I love all Christmas music.
I do love Point of Grace “Not That Far from Bethlehem”
I have an old Point of Grace Christmas CD I love!
Peppermint? Yes, please! I promise to wait until next Friday to use it :)
I love Silent Night…
Oh Come All Ye Faithful… makes me cry everytime… the church is packed out, standing room only. LOVE!
My all time favorite Christmas Carol is Oh Holy Night. Second choice is always Sleigh Ride. I played flute in the high school band and always loved playing this song at the Holidays
Tough one…. I really like Mary, Did You Know? But there are SO many great ones!! :)
I suppose I shouldn’t admit I’ve been listening to the Michael buble holiday station on Pandora? :) I think O holy night is my favorite!
My favorite Christmas song is Joy to the World!!!
I love the charlie brown christmas CD. it defines christmas for me! we play it when we set up the tree, when we open presents, etc.
O, Holy Night! I am waiting for the day after Thanksgiving to break out all things Christmas…and I can’t wait!
My favorite is a song from Michael McLean’s Forgotten Carols called Let Him In.
And I would totally order this wash if I had the mad money. :( Please let me win!!!
I love the carol Winter Wonderland because it reminds me of my jolly cold christmas’ in MI!

My ABSOLUTE favorite is “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” I listen to it year ’round and it brings me tears and chills!
Carol of the Bells :) Manheim Steamroller style!
Hallelujah Chorus
super excited about this new wash–few things cheer me in the morning like peppermint.
my favoritey hymn? o come o come Emmanuel, followed closely by o holy night.
Ha, I almost didn’t come read this (and I read ALL your posts) because it was about a Christmas scent BEFORE Christmas but I’m glad I did and I’m glad you’re not overlooking Thanksgiving! :) Only ONE favorite Christmas song?! hmmm, I really like Blue Christmas, mostly because I love hearing Elvis sing it. :)
ps-Does the Green Hills Body Shop not sell the Sweet Orange scent? I saw the Lavender and Coconut ones but I love orange and I really want to smell it before I buy it (because I really like the coconut one too and can’t get both right now).
Nope – they are out of sweet orange right now. It always helps to let them know you want it if they don’t have it. I think they’re about due for an order soon, so I’ll see if we can’t get a few in there for you :)
Awesome! Thanks so much. I’ll definitely let them know I want some if I don’t see it next time. :)
Oh Holy night!
O’ come Emmanuel! Gives me chills… in a good way ;)
Hmmm…this is a tough one…hard to choose a favorite. I’m going to go with God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
O Holy Night!
Mine is “Good ol’ Country Christmas” by Loretta Lynn. It’s an old classic that my Grandfather started playing Thanksgiving afternoon when I was a wee little girl. Now, I continue the tradition with my family! Love the whole album!

O Holy Night for sure :)
i heard the bells on christmas….i push repeat on my casting crowns cd over and over again. :)
I feel a bit bad because I read your blog all the time, but do not really ever comment and here I am commenting for a giveaway- oh well. My favorite is “I love those j-i-n-g-l-e bells”- sung by Frank Sinatra- that is Christmas to me- and I have already listened to the CD once this week- oops!
I LOVE Joy to the World. I also love that occasionally throughout the year, my church will sing it on non-Christmas-time Sundays, because it wasn’t even really written as a Christmas hymn. It makes my heart soar with the happy hope that the Lord is come, indeed!
I don’t think there is a Christmas song that I don’t love.
It is a toss up between O Holy Night and Silent Night. I do love all Christmas hymns though! I also have a rule to wait until the day after Thanksgiving before I start listening to Christmas music!
I love Oh Holy Night. There is something about that song sung acapella that moves me like no other!
My favorite is Silent Night. It brings back so many memories of church on Christmas Eve with Silent Night being played as we did the candlelighting.
My favorite Christmas carol is O Holy Night. I’ve loved it since I was a kid. No matter who sings it, when it gets to “fall on your knees…” I always get chills!
It has to be I’ll be home for Christmas!
I love christmas hymns, O Holy Night tops my list. Thanksgiving has come and gone here in Canada, but I am barely holding off the christmas cheer. Would love some peppermint wash to celebrate the start of Advent.
I love the song Hark the Herald Angels Sing. My choir used to sing it with the lights off in the auditorium, only holding the battery powered candles. It was the most magical thing ever.
The First Noel
“oh nifty rafflecopter widget, please pick me! my favorite is “(There’s No Place Like) Home for the Holidays”…especially Bing or Como style!” :)
I love “O Holy Night” and this song on a Christmas album I have called “Joy”. It is always the first song I listen to on the Day After Thanksgivng!
I would say “O Holy Night” is my fav. Also, there us a song on. Random Christmas CD I have called “Joy” that is the first song I listen to each year!
Love all Christmas songs – but the first noel tops my list! Christmas music is already playing at my house. The first snowfall convinced me it was time. My daughter says that it just makes her happy.
It’s beginning to look alot like Christmas.
I love The First Noel.
I love the First Noel!

“Mary did you know?” is one of my favourites, although I LOVe just about all Christmas music!
I’ll Be Home For Christmas always brings tears to my eyes!
Silent Night – It makes me think of my mom because it makes her think of her mom!!!
Hark the Herald Angels Sing. 1 – it is a very pretty song and fun to sing to. But also…..I played an angel for the children’s christmas program (didn’t we all, at some point?) and my family started referring to it as the part of Harold. Ha ha, those jokers. Ah, memories.
I LOVE peppermint….this would be awesome.
I love to play Charlie Brown’s “Christmas Time is Here!”
i actually have 2 xmas mix CD’s that are now playlist: “christmas funsies” and “christmas power!” fave funsie is hands down mariah carey, “all i want for christmas is you.” favorite christmas power is “go tell it on the mountain” by sarah evans, or “do you hear what i hear” by whitney or “o holy night” by kelly clarkson. love a jesus power ballad.
Joy to the World or O Holy Night :)
My fav Christmas tune is God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen!
My fav is God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
I must admit….I work with young children all day long. As the holiday season approaches, we tend to sing two songs ALL THE TIME, 1) All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth and 2) Frosty the Snowman.
I just ordered a bottle of the new pepermint wash and I cant wait to try it out! I have been following your blog for a long time and I love it :)
oh and I guess I might as well enter the contest…my favorite Christmas song is “Ill be home for Christmas”
