Hello, friends! We are all feeling MUCH better at the Myers home. All of the sickies are back to their normal selves and believe it or not, I think I may have gotten away with just a little nausea and exhaustion from taking care of my people. Thanks be to God!
And now, on to happier, healthier, and much less gross things. Shall we?
The weather is getting consistently warmer her now (our Bradford Pear tress have all been in full bloom for a week – several weeks earlier than last year!) and Hazel’s toes are starting to feel a bit sweaty and confined in her socks and shoes. Time for sandal weather! Hurrah!
I had some fun hunting around during naptime today for pretty little lady sandals and thought I may as well share my favorite findings with y’all, too. Maybe it will save you some hunting later.
Below are a few favorites with links:
So glad everyone’s better! Just a tip though… I learned this the hard way… last December my kiddo and my husband both got the stomach bug and somehow even after getting thrown up on a couple of times, I managed to stay well for about 5 days after they got sick. I got lax on my hand washing b/c I thought I had missed the germs by now….well, it turns out that you can be contagious for up to 7 days after the stomach bug is over. Yep. So on day 6, I got sick. : (
Boo.
Hope you stay well. And cute shoes!
oh, no! Okay… good to know! I will keep being careful and crazy about germs :)
ps – nice to hear from you, Ebe! :)
I luuuuueve my some baby sandals! I am not real sure why the shoe people think when little girl graduates out of toddler size it is time for them to wear heels and wedges…aka clubbing shoes.
haha – I love that you called them clubbing shoes! Agreed, though! These are little, growing feet – and they’re running playing babes. Let’s find a happy balance between fashion and function.
Cute shoes, but 50 bucks for shoes for a 18 month old??? I have a hard time spending that on shoes for myself, and I LOVE shoes!
SO true. I have to keep remembering that she is going to grow out of whatever I buy her in 6 months. And, I’m pretty sure my shoe size isn’t changing any time soon, yet I squirm at spending more than $30 for myself. I get that their feet are growing and need extra love, but $50 (however cute) is painful!
i want ALL of those in my size!
Oooh I need to take a closer look at those yellow sandals and also the denim looking ones at the end of the post. They both look nice and supportive. All the catalogues over here (in the UK) are filled with yellows, blues and whites. The colours of Summer 12 it would appear! Thanks for sharing your hard work.
