Highlights:

1. We rode “Soarin'” twice and LOVED it!
2. Oliver tripped and fell and spilled his snow cone. A kid with a spilled treat crying at Disney is a sad sight. We got him a gelato replacement and all was once again right with the world.
3. Oliver’s favorite ride was “Spaceship Earth” inside the big Epcot ball. We rode it three times. It was 15 minutes long. We spent a LOT of time in that ball.
4. The “Living With the Land” ride/tour was cool. We saw the Disney gardens and tomato trees and fancy hybrid fruits and veggies.
5. The different countries were great but we only got about halfway around before it was clear that we were going to need to go on a ride to keep everyone happy. Oliver enjoyed Morocco and I thought France was lovely.
6. We didn’t stay for fireworks, even though we’ve heard they’re the best at Epcot. We left at 9:30pm and just needed to get home.
7. Oliver used his “spending money” from Ryan to buy an R2-D2 mouse ears hat. He LOVES it. Good choice, dude.
8. All of the restaurants closed before we got a chance to get back out to the countries. Thus, no food critiques to report :(
9. Oliver saw some kids playing in a water feature and reeeealy wanted to join them. He played carefully for a while, then just went for it. He walked around the rest of the day in very wet clothes but never really complained about it. He did ask as he tried to sit on my lap if he was too wet for me – I’d forgotten that he was even wet! Still, I think it was totally worth it to him.
10. Any food shaped like Mickey’s head = yum. Any food made out of gummy = yuck.

I have lots of lovely photos that I took with my big girl camera – but there’s just no time to go through/edit them while the fun is still being had! Maybe later. Until then, have a lovely day! We are headed to the Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

So fun!! Love disney :). Did you know there is a ride in Norway (viking ship, super fun!) and in Mexico (Donald Duck and the 3 Cabelleros, I think. Slower paced but still fun)? We discovered them last year, and my kids- 2/4/6/8- really liked them!
