After a lovely weekend and a lazy Sunday brunch in Leiper’s Fork, we decided to take the scenic route home via the Natchez Trace, and – most thrillingly – the Natchez Bridge.
The view from the top was quite literally breathtaking.
And the [very!] low railings made Keight feel the need to keep her center of gravity [very!] low.
And worth the extra drive. And the death grip on my 5-year-old.
Amen.
I hate low railings!! It makes me a little anxious to even see you guys so close to the edge! ack!
I love your cardigan!
that’s all for now :)
xo
Wow so pretty. I’m not a fan of kid leashes, but this would be a totally appropriate time to pull one out ;)
Been there! When we lived in Oxford, we drove the Trace a LOT. So gorgeous, especially this time of year. I remember one stop where you could see huge Indian burial mounds. Random.
so cool in B&W! thanks for posting the turban. definitely important, rae-bird (something new i’m trying out).
Wow! What an amazing view! I love the black and white photo of Keight and Jesse! Picture perfect! They should frame it and put it in their new living room :-)
GREAT idea!
I agree with Ailieen – that picture should definitely be framed! The one of you and Oliver is super cute too.
aw, you were in my old neck of the woods :) i’ll be there next week…miss that piece of land SO MUCH!
You look so much like Oliver in that first photo! Beautiful photos! I believe in taking the scenic route. :)
