I found this girl, playing with her elephant bank.
Actually, it’s Kendy’s elephant bank.
And, I don’t know. I just loved her. I loved her little fingers and toes and the way she lets her tongue rest just outside of her mouth when she has to think extra hard to do something tricky.
I love these days with my girl – just the two of us from 8 to 4.
I got Oliver for 3.5 years all to myself before Hazel was born, and it was so sweet to have that time to get to know him well.
I get Hazel this one year before she starts two-morning-a-week preschool and I am so overwhelmed with thanks for this girl time.
(I’m pretty sure that’s her jumping for joy about it, too.)
Oh, and have I mentioned that I love her fuzzy white crown?
I do.
Have a lovely weekend, friends!
ps – this pink sweater first made an appearance on my blog 2.5 years ago on Beatrice.
Hand-me-downs be awesome!
if we lived closer and we knew each other and you & Miss Hazel didn’t mind … I would nuzzle that fuzzy head. {once again … sigh} :)
haha… indeed! :)
