Fix Faves

It’s crazy to think that since January, eleven fixes have come and gone without being properly documented and shared! And they’ve been great ones, too – I had two last month where I kept the entire box (that bonus 25% off is hard to pass up!).

Well, now everything is scattered throughout my closet and I know I am definitely not going to be able to give the run-down for each box individually – or even all of the things I’ve kept (I think I counted 24). BUT, as a happy, fun consolation, I’d love to share some greatest hits from my past 11 fixes!

I think that before I begin, I should shout out a big fat thank you to my friend/nanny/everything Lizzie for coming over yesterday morning to shoot these for me. She’s the best kind of friend because:
a) she came bearing coffee, and
b) when I loaded the images onto my computer, there was a fantastic, surprise, upside-down selfie which I will treasure forever.

But that’s enough about that. Let’s move on to this slew of photos of me in different outfits. I’m going to pretend that’s not at all awkward, mmkay?

If you aren’t familiar with StitchFix, this is why it’s great:

  • You tell them all about you, your style (you can even direct them to a Pinterest board of yours or theirs!), your lifestyle and your budget (items average around $75, but you can request a lower price bracket!)
  • When you’re ready, schedule a Fix. (No subscriptions – just whenever is convenient!) You can specify that you’re looking to bump up your summer wardrobe, or that you’re headed to a wedding and would love to see five dresses that would make you look awesome (but not more awesome than the bride… of course…), or just tell them to surprise you! (I love surprises!)
  • A trained stylist hand-picks five items for you and that happy brown box arrives via USPS on your scheduled Fix day. (Shipping is free both ways, and there is a $20 styling fee for each fix, which can be credited toward anything you decide to keep.)
  • Try it all on in the context of your closet, at a time that is convenient for you (um, naptime!!) and enjoy trying pieces that you may not have grabbed off the rack at a store, but that make you feel fabulous when you give them a chance.
  • Each item comes with styling tips and two flat-styled photos in case you’re stumped for how to style it.
  • Checkout online and send back what you aren’t keeping in the provided, postage-paid bag. Providing feedback on your items here makes every Fix after it that much better – the more your stylist learns about your style, the better they know what will make you squeal.
  • Wear your fancy new clothes! (Amazing how often my fixes come straight out of the box and out for date night!)

I do like stitch fix BUT I dislike that they only give me 3 days. It’s so inconvenient for me. If they changed it to 7 days, I’d use them way more!
You look smokin’ in everything Raech!

Got my first fix today and I LOVED it. Would not have known about it if it weren’t for you talking about it on your blog, so thanks Raechel! Can’t wait to get my next one.

How in the world do I get rid of the ad at the bottom of your blog? It is super annoying! Not usually a complainer but I can’t even read your posts it is so distracting.

oh, weird! I didn’t even know there was an ad at the bottom of my blog!! Are you viewing from a mobile device? If so, maybe there is one and I need to figure out how to disable it. So sorry!

Is there any place with an ‘x’ to close it?

      Again, my apologies, Heather!
